The Practice Facilities at Royal Oaks Country Club provide golfers with numerous resources to enjoy practicing and improve in all aspects of the game. Royal Oaks has an expansive practice putting green, a short game practice area for greenside chipping, pitching and bunker play as well as two practice areas.
The Lower Driving Range is tucked between Hole No. 14 and Hole No. 15 giving the golfers a tree-lined fairway, which leads to great preparation for the golf course. The Lower Driving Range offers grass tees on selected dates during the summer and a covered non-grass practice area the rest of the season, plus a wedge range to work on your short game.
The Upper Driving Range offers a 200 yard limit with strategically placed greens and targets, a perfect area to focus on yardage gap training for a golfers short game and irons. These practice facilities featuring a fairway bunker, grass tees, wedge range training stations were customized by our Head Golf Professional Scott Leritz.
Royal Oaks Country Club provides state-of-the-art technology to improve your game and custom fitting experience. TrackMan Launch Monitor technology captures detailed data for the golfer, golf club, and golf ball throughout the entire swing. Trackman is utilized by tracking the full trajectory of any shot, from 6 foot pitches to 300 yard drives, pinpointing the landing position with an accuracy of less than 1 foot at 100 yards.
One of the many excellent features of TrackMan is the Practice Combine as well as Gap/Yardage Tracking, so you know exactly what to expect out of your game! The PGA Golf Professionals are trained and certified to fit you for a custom set of clubs or a new club you have in mind to give yourself an edge. Our Staff utilizes the Science and Motion (SAM) Sports PuttLab and Blast Motion Golf to give golfers scientifically precise feedback on all relevant parameters of their putting stroke. For the first time, SAM PuttLab allows an individual to experience efficient putt-training with ascertainable success. Blast Golf is the solution. The Blast Golf swing analyzer sensor captures your stroke metrics, helps you analyze your data, and provides drills to improve your timing. By improving your timing, you will make more putts.
